With over a 100 freshly cooked dishes to order, there’s plenty of choice for everyone no matter their pallet. Lively starters include king prawn tandoori, keema samosa, and delicately flavoured paneer pakora; whilst friends or couples can share in the quality and quantity of the Tandoori Nights mixed starter platters.
Inspirational main courses will impress the most discerning lover of Asian cuisine. Restaurateurs Sat & Gill Chana have enjoyed great success with the Costa Blanca’s most authentic Inidan Restaurant ‘Tandoori Nights’ we hear their story.
“After purchasing a house in ‘Lo Crispin’ last year, we quickly discovered that Quesada had no Traditional ‘Indian’ Restaurants. We moved from London to this area of Spain to enjoy time together and to maintain our family values. My wife, Gillian Chana, son Nathan aged 13 and Daughter Estelle aged 3 live here full time whilst my eldest 2 children are finishing their studies in Law and Construction in England. We took over Tandoori Nights in Mid Feb 2006 and reopened the restaurant 9th June 2006. We used the time between purchasing the restaurant and re-opening to clean, redecorate and improve the premises, adding a new terrace with gates and blinds. Unlike most Indian restaurants, who often use one curry sauce as the basis of many dishes, we spend a little more time preparing our dishes which are individually made to ensure freshness and flavour. Our Chef, Jessi has over 20 years cooking experience in Punjab, India and uses recipes authentic to Indian home cooking to ensure that our food is of the highest quality. We employ 2 chefs, one to produce the curry dishes and the other to produce the Tandoori dishes. Both are helped by an experienced assistant chef. Since our opening in June we have very positive feedback from more than 95% of our customers, most of whom comment on the freshness of the food, the high levels of cleanliness, the quality of the service and the friendliness of the staff.
If you haven’t been to Tandoori Nights since we took over, you should give it a go. As well as our usual Menu containing individual dishes, we have set menus for 2, 3, 4 and 6 persons as well as Happy Platters and Specials. You will find many improvements in cuisine, decor and service since the previous owners left. If you are not a fan of Indian food, we can still cater for your needs. Call us the day before your visit and we can prepare a steak or other dishes to your requirements, whilst you friends can enjoy their “Ruby Murry”. We also provide Kids menus of Chicken Nuggets, Fish Fingers, Ommlettes, Sausages, chips and salad. We offer a free delivery service on orders of 20€, we are currently offering free 2€ and 5€ vouchers for your next visit, We have a new lunch time snack menu (inc. delivery) between 12.00 to 15.00 hours. Main a la carte menu is from 16.30 till 24.00 hours. Such is our reputation we now have a good Asian clientele who travel from as far as Alicante, Santa Pola, Elchie and Guardamar.
