Baybrooks a la carte menu has something to please everyone; meat eaters and vegetarians alike, with vegan needs catered for with prior notice. To start we would heartily recommend succulent fresh Catalan mussels, served in a delicate cream, white wine, shallot and saffron sauce or the delectable flash fried fillet of beef served warm on a salad of rocket, cherry tomatoes, parmesan cheese and oyster mushrooms and for a slightly decadent twist, sample seasonal fruits topped with crème fraiche and drizzled with minted syrup. The main courses are equally tempting, and include locally sourced fillets of sea bass, pan fried and served with prawn and lemon butter; tender braised lamb shank served on a bed of minted mashed potato with a scented rosemary and red wine sauce and the woodland stroganoff of mushrooms lovingly cooked in garlic and paprika then flambéed in brandy and served alongside a timbale of rice. To finish we would encourage you to make extra special room for Baybrooks famous crème brûlée laced with Baileys, or a devilish slice of homemade white chocolate cheesecake accompanied with berry fruit compote.
